About the event
The Five Tumps Relay offers runners the opportunity to take part in a unique one day, five stage relay, taking in the five highest points in Gloucestershire between Birdlip and Broadway. I’ve wanted to link up the highest points in Gloucestershire for a long time, this is my homage to some of the hills I love to run.
The Five Tumps:
Birdlip Hill 299m, Cleeve Hill 330m, Roel Hill 301m, Shenberrow Hill 304m, Seven Wells Hill 319m Â
The Format:
This is not a race. You will be able to choose from up to 5 stages ranging from 5miles to 8miles. Each stage will start and finish at a convenient drop-off/pickup point along the 50km linear route, where the relay baton will be passed over. Perfect for those looking to run their first ultra distance without the pressure of a race environment. Â
